Our Story & Mission
Rico Picante was founded by a brother and sister with Peruvian roots and a shared passion for authentic flavour. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culinary traditions of Peru, we developed a deep appreciation for the ingredients that define our cuisine—especially the iconic ají chillies, known for their unique character and depth of flavour.
After moving to the UK, we realised these distinctive ingredients were difficult to find. Inspired to recreate the flavours of our childhood, we began crafting our own sauces using traditional recipes and carefully selected chillies sourced from Peru.
Today, Rico Picante brings authentic Peruvian flavour to chefs, retailers, and food lovers across the UK—combining heritage, quality, and bold taste in every bottle.
